The
Demon's Scourge Series
The
Exorcist's Error
Father Michael, the Exorcist takes on life-threatening assignments for
the Catholic Church to solve reported cases of demonic possession. He
learns his new vocation with simpler cases of possession involving unhappy
spirits, before a brush with death with a Djin in Jerusalem. He tries
to track down the last exorcist before confronting a violent and jealous
spirit in a life threatening struggle.
Requiem
on the Rocks
Asked to help
the Church of England to investigate a series of grisly murders in London,
Father Michael discovers a devil-worshiping coven who, mistakenly, bring
a dangerous force into the natural world. He forms a partnership with
Felicity, a nature-loving witch, to battle this force that puts his life
and sanity at risk.
Desolate
Souls
Father Michael is asked to first investigate and ultimately destroy the
Desolate Souls who walk among us – they are people who have been
rejected by both heaven and hell, cannot die again and are consumed by
despair. With no hope and threat of retribution, the Desolate Souls are
unconcerned with the affairs of ordinary people and will torment or murder
simply to relieve their own boredom. First he must discover their true
nature – then attempt to destroy them, if he can find a weakness.
But as soon as they know what he is trying to do, they will use any means
to destroy him, his friends and his family.
A
Cleansing Pyre
While confronting and solving puzzling cases of possession for the Catholic
Church, Michael and Felicity are trapped in the compound of a charismatic
cult leader with the help of one of the Desolate Souls. Their interrogation,
torture and intended death by burning is played out live on the internet,
making them both cult figures and promoting intense debate in all communities
about the nature of God, nature and faith.
The
Unholy Church
Father Michael must now confront the difficulties of his world-wide media
profile and the increased number of requests for his exorcism skills with
a growing isolation from the Vatican who is seeking to control him. To
make matters worse, his escape from the pyre forces him to always be in
the presence of the witch Felicity or she dies.
Dicing
with the Devil
Father Michael must manage the uneasy truce between his own beliefs, the
radically changed Church, Felicity’s brand of witchcraft and the
negotiated settlement with the six Desolate Souls. He also has to cope
with his own possession and make sense of the growing incidents of supernatural
events that require his intervention. His only hope is Felicity’s
half-mad sister who can foresee the probabilities of events quite accurately,
but can’t maintain a sensible relationship with the real world.
The
Mark Sutherland Series
Descendants
of Wanjina
Mark and the team are given the task of using the latest genetic selection
techniques to identify the leaders of the future to become an advisory
group to the Government. But young people can be a problem can't they?
Especially when strange deaths occur both within and outside the group.
Mark is once again out of his depth and not all the team is on his side.
Things quickly get worse and bring the group into confrontation with the
government, other countries and a new, unfeeling evil.
To beat this
one, Mark is going to have to put more than just his life on the line
- far more - everything that he believes in and everything he has done
so far - all undone in a moment of decision.
A Formula for Coincidence
Mark's role
is to police the use of the Integrated National Resource (INR) database
to create completely realistic simulations of intelligence in historical
settings. These simulations are a massive drain on resources but provide
an exiting new form of underground entertainment. In this role, Mark stumbles
across information that will make him question the true meaning of his
existence - and find no answers.
This concluding
novel in the Sutherland Series pushes all the way through to where no
sane person would want to go - and Mark is compelled to lead the way reluctantly.
He gets help from people he doesn't want, and fear and loathing from his
friends. This time everything is on the line and there is no way to avoid
the reality.
Drop
the Dead Camel
What
happens when you bring Arabs from the middle east and put them into a
high-tech satellite television station in the west-end of London? Pour
in almost unlimited funds and mix them all up with ex-BBC technicians
and wetern journalists. You may get the Arabic equivalent of CNN, but
along the way every prejudice and racial slur you hold sub-consciously
will be displayed in all its naked glory. More importantly, you get some
of the funniest interactions between people that have occurred in our
time.
Gary
Hampson's observations of 'people being people' in a challanging racial
confrontation is humorous and insightful. You'll walk away with a new
appreciation for what 'tolerance' really means.
HR
Management Series
AdaptiveHR
A
detailed technical specification for how to deliver strategically aligned
human resource management services on a commercial basis. This breakthrough
monograph builds on the technology of HR outsourcing and applies it to
internal HR Departments. It links the objectives of HR to the obkectives
of the organisation, then flows this down through processes, projects,
service level agreements, measures and HR systems - finally producing
an integrated approach that goes far beyond the HR Scorecard.
Using

Now
more than ever, knowledge workers need to understand the sources of their
own power to influence others, manage their own career and achieve results.
This book outlines the general sources of power at work and how these
are used and abused. It includes a checklist of your own sources of power
and identifies where you are vulnerable to manipulation and bullying.
This book is an essential guide for those who aren't natural weilders
of power or who want to maximise the influence they extend to others.
