Asia Pacific uses a unique approach to HRMIS selection that is based on
the outcomes desired by the organisation and the HR Team. Instead of giving
potential HRMIS providers a list of functional requirements, our approach
allows the providers to demonstrate how their systems align with each
of the HR business processes. Strong emphasis is placed on reporting,
financial interfaces and HR Portal integration.

consultants are independent of any systems provider and have the advantage
of a solid, contemporary framework for the HR function on which to build
the requirements.

HR professionals with strong knowledge of systems, we are ideally placed
to work closely with the HR team to transalate your wishes into concrete
requirments.

Implementation
HR
Systems implementation is probably the least successful of all HR projects.
By the time the HR Team has struggled to get the payroll and position
management systems fully operational with 'workflowed' leave forms, there
is little energy left to tackle the areas that contain the next phase
of effectiveness and efficiency savings. While the IT aspects of the project
are usually successful, HR Systems projects usually stop soon after payroll
and position management are implemented. Or worse still, the IT implementation
partners with little or no knowledge of HR requirements soak up your precious
HR funds with years of process mapping and iterative changes to produce
a system that only barely works and is less efficient than doing it all
in the traditional way in the HR team.

Asia Pacific Consultants can act as the 'middle person' or project manager
between your HR Team and the highly-skilled IT systems professionals of
the HRMIS Provider or partners. We agree the outcomes and work to transalte
your desires for process improvements and better reporting into detailed
deliverables for the HRMIS provider.
- Our
consultants have detailed, hands-on experience in aspects of HR such
as payroll, recruitment, training, OH&S, performance and overall
HR Architecture.
- They
also have the benefit of a comprehensive and disciplined approach to
describing the HR function. This allows a high level of systems independence
in our approach and a strong degree of accurate communication with the
HR Team.
- While
our consultants can deliver aspects of the HR Portal part of an integrated
system, we do not make chanees to the HRMIS directly - this work is
properly left to the HRMIS provider.
