Interim Site

HR Asia Pacific is an exciting new company within the Brindabella Group that is focused on finding and making available the best the world has to offer to HR professionals in Australia. This includes specific software, products, tools, techniques and training courses that will have relevance in delivering HR services in Asia Pacific.

A dedicated HR Asia Pacific web site is expected to be completed by the end of March 2003 and a major launch will highlight a range of new tools for HR professionals.

What's New?
These are some of the new and exciting HR tools to be released early in 2003:

HR Support Desk - a comprehensive software system that assists HR teams to provide disciplined employee services while at the same time reducing the workload.

Salary Packaging System - a new approach to an old problem. One that integrates with your current HR system, using web techniques to keep employees up to date and provides professional financial advice across Australia.

HR Portal Design - a new service that creates a meaningful and comprehensive interface with your employees for HR Services. Integrates with your HRMIS and is tailor-made to meet your organisation's needs.

On-line Recruitment - a sophisticated web site that sits outside your secure network so that applicants can have easy access, but integrates with your HRMIS and the intranet. Provides an essential tool for the HR tean to manage the selection process with discipline and predictability. A specialised public sector version that meets the more stringent standards for equity and merit selection is under development.

On-line Surveys - introducing a simple on-line surveying tool that can be used to conduct staff surveys and client surveys of all descriptions. Local Austrlian support afor the software and professional guidance on how to construct a high quallity survey will be provided.

History

HR Asia Pacific was known as HR Alliance until 1 January 2001. HR Alliance was one of Australia's leading HR consulting firms with a wide range of clients and offices in Melbourne and Canberra.

From 2001, HR Alliance was divided into two companies. HR Asia Pacifc remained operating the Canberra office, while the Waite Group began to operate the Melbourne office trading under the old name of HR Alliance. The HR Alliance web site is at www.hr-alliance.com.au

During 2001 and 2002, HR Asia Pacific has been mostly inactive while building a range of exciting products and relationships on which to build the future success of the company.

From 2003, HR Asia Pacific will continue the tradition of providing leading-edge HR services to our clients throughout the region.
